Can I do a Functional Skills course instead of a GCSE course?

A functional skills qualification at level 2 is the equivalent of a GCSE grade 4. Most universities and colleges accept Functional Skills in place of GCSEs, however, if your plan is to go onto university you must check whether the course you are interested in will accept Functional Skills.
