How is my Course Assessed?

Most of our courses are assessed on a unit-by-unit basis. Here’s how it works:

1. Study Materials and Self-Tests: Begin by studying the course materials and taking self-tests.
2. Complete Assignments: Submit your assignments for review.
3. Receive Feedback: Within 5 working days, you’ll receive an outcome, which will typically be a pass or refer. Some courses may also be graded as pass, merit, or distinction. Regardless of the outcome, you’ll get constructive feedback from your tutor to help you improve.
4. Unlock Next Assignment: Once you pass an assignment, the next one will be unlocked. This ensures you can apply the feedback and correct any errors before moving forward.
5. Final Checks and Certification: After completing all assignments, we’ll conduct final checks before issuing your certificate.

If your course includes an examination as part of the assessment then you will be informed of deadlines and the booking process by the exams team.
